As in, in the same enclosure?
No, that wouldn't be safe. It's generally frowned upon to mix different species, and especially so with a gecko as aggressive as a Tokay! That aside, Tokays can also get much larger than Goldens, so just like with same-species housing, the risk of bullying, aggression, and intimidation behaviors would also be a concern.

Keeping species of same regions are acceptable so long as each geckos requirements have been made. I would personally not reccomend male tokay geckos with other species, this species aggression could lead to fatal inguries.

I do have 2 Female tokay geckos that have been housed with a female golden gecko for more than 2 years now. The three are kept in a 90 gallon terrarium with temperatures ambient at 97 with a basking spot up to 107F. I have 3 cool hides, 3 warm hides. Multiple sticks overlaying for basking purposes. and TONS of artificial greenery. The geckos all have their own space and still choose to be with eachot

There is always going to be exceptions in any gecko situation. With 2-3months of monitoring: maintaining weight, inspecting appetites, and ALWAYS quarantine prior to introducing 2 animals together.

Heres a shot of the tank :)

Wow, beautiful geckos you have. :) Your Tokays aren't aggressive towards your Goldens at all?

I think it would be an exception thing. For example, I believe most people would never keep gargs and cresties together (even thought they're from the same region) simply because gargs are known for being aggressive, and there are many horror stories of the results of those pairings. :p But, I'm sure there are at least one or two success stories as well. For me, personally, I wouldn't be brave enough to chance it.

When openeing the tank, both females don't mind my hands. I'm able to hold and pet without aggression. ALWAYS exceptions :)

But in the same sence, the cresties and the gargs are coming from seperate islands and would never confront one another naturally in the wild. The tokays and goldies can both be found nestled in the same bush/ tree throughout malyasia, indonesia etc..
