Got a supplement for dusting crickets. I understand that you should have a little pot in the tank with calcium in it available too.... is this one ok or do i need a pure calcium powder for inside the tank?

Thanks

i bought an all in one mrp for my crickets, it comes in a gel form. They gobble it up everytime, also, i throw in a carrot too, they like those. I dust with calcium powder, no need for a dish, i dont think they directly eat calcium powder. I checked out your link, that stuff would work fine too, as long as what your feeding them is good, your gecko will benefit from them.

I'm guessing you mean for inside you gecko tank and not inside your cricket tank? I would recommend more of a pure calcium powder for inside the gecko tank. I do mix some vitamin powder in with the calcium and regularly see my gecko licking at it.

Yeah i meant inside the gecko tank, ive seen a few people put in in there in a lid, or in a small bowl with meal worms.

Gotta find some pure calcium powder now. Does it have to be a certain type or could i get some from a health shop?

Thanks

If you have a bowl of calcium powder in the tank do you still need to dust the feeder insects with powder?

Id say yes, as they may not like licking it directly from a bowl
