Is this this what I think it is?

I feel silly asking, but I want to make sure. Is this an egg? Albeit, a malformed one. I found this in my female tangs hide, not her moist hide though. I noticed something white whilst passing by her cage, and initially though maybe she had regurgitated her shed. But when I opened her tub, I did not think that anymore..

This is from my tang I adopted from Kristi at Ghoulish Geckos. I'm assuming its dead/infertile, because as far as I know, she has not been with a male (I'm hoping Kristi will chime in. ;)) , though I put it in incubator at my husbands pleading. LOL. (This would be my first experience with a Leo egg, so will be interesting to see what happens to the egg even if it is infertile/a dud)

What's got me so worried is, that she dropped her tail during shipping.. and now she's laid an egg, and what if she lays another? She was already not eating, but now I'm guessing that was because she was going to lay.. I'm just worried about her health because she lost her fat reserves. :( What should I do for her?

That crossed my mind, but it is definitely not urate. It feels fleshy and I think its way too large for that. Its nearly the size of my thumb.

I have not bred her and wasn't planning to. I got her from Kristi at Ghoulish Geckos as an adopt/pet only Leo. I will check with her, but I would think not, as I don't think she was at breeding weight.

They will lay even if they haven't been bred they will just be infertile but check with her just incase and I wound freeze those eggs unless you want to try incubating them

Doubt that its any good at all :p Just toss it. Probably just a small unformed egg passing. We get them from new egg laying chickens all the time.

I figured this was the case. She's just barely a year old, so I guess she's right on track then. ;) I just feel bad for her because she just dropped her tail.. then laid an egg. I haven't even given her a name yet, because I wanted to wait and see what her personality was going to be like, but I don't think she's still herself yet. Poor girl!

Thanks all for your help!! :)
