Is this too hot?

Okay I measured the surface temperature of my hot side and got 3 temperatures. 101, 98, and 97. Are these temperatures too hot? P.S. I measured these temperatures with a household thermometer.

They arent very accurate. Can you purchase a probe from a local pet store?

Might I also state, 101 degrees is what is on DIRECTLY on the UTH, and I have no furniture in my tank yet, because I don't have the geckos yet. Would that change when there if furniture and stuff in the tank later on?
