isn't the shortage over yet?

i thought the situation was supposed to be rectified by late july/early august, but i still can't find mealworms anywhere locally and almost all the ones that haven't been eaten from my last order of 1000 have either pupated or turned into beetles already. i'd hate to have to order more online since i should have some new ones getting up to size shortly. i might just have to go with crickets for a little while if i can't find any suitable size ones in my colony.:main_angry:

Get your self a mini fridage and keep ur meal worms in there i had a problem as they turned into beetles so i got a fridge i dust them with calcum and gut load for 24 hours before they go in the every weekend i have not had one pupa yet and i still had some left over (still mealworms) from 3 weeks ago

well i wanted some of them to turn into beetles, but once they started they just kept going. i went from 0-400 pupae in like 2 days haha. at least ******** got a fresh shipment in today so i'll have some to hold me over.
