Thanks!I have a question. For your lamps do you have infrared bulbs or regular heat bulbs? I have a blue 50 watt heat bulb but what would be best for night time or all the time?I have the light combined with the heating mat to be sure she has a nice hot side.

Yes, that will serve her much better than a hide and a water dish. I assume you dust her food? And let's tell the truth this time. I'm only working in the interest of your leo.

Better. That's why I like my 20 long. Plenty of room for lots of hides. And I only asked if the sand was calcium sand. I'm personally not one of those people who's concerned with regular sand if proper husbandry is provided, but obviously calcium sand is death in a bag. If it was just regular sand like you said it was, there was no need to change it imo (and I was the only one who mentioned it, I believe).

I also mentioned the sand, but said it was fine as long as it wasn't 'death in a bad' lol. I am glad you cover the points I randomly miss on all these threads, I get to rambling and sometimes miss important points, so thanks :) lol.

I couldn't remember. I had a blazing fever when this was going on last night, so it's a miracle I could put my sentences together. XD
I gut feed the crickets and dust with calcium and vitamins.
What kind?

Gut feed with Flukers Orange Cube Complete Cricket Diet, vitamins-Reptivite Reptile vitamins without d3, calcium-rep cal calcium 0% d3.I also have calcium with d3 but was told not to use it because they can "overdose" on d3.

As far as for night, there is debate on whether they can see red light or not, I use a 25 watt zoomed black night heat bulb to bump up temps

Oh and I assure you I've been telling the truth view my pictures from months ago.I had paper towels a humid hide, and a warm hide but I didn't have a cool hide. I changed the sand because I started reading about all the impactions.

Really? 'Cause I'm pretty sure you said "Trust me, it's in there now," and then only hours later, you said you had a change of heart and that you'd put one in. Seems legit.

That I would put a cool hide in.The humid hide was a sour cream container but I redid it as the coffee container.

It looks alot better! I bet she'll feel more secure now. :) Personally I don't use any lighting on my leo's vivarium. She gets sun from the window, so she always knows if it's day or night, what time it is, what the season is, etc.. from the sunlight. I have a 20 gallon long also, with a 30-40 gallon size ZooMed heat mat, controlled with a HydroFarms thermostat set at 93 degrees. :)
