It's Nothing Compared to Marcia ...

but we don't have nearly as many geckos to look care for either. I finally got shelves, tanks, accessories, etc. moved to one location in our house and snapped some pictures.

As you can see, our gecko room is also our living room. Until a couple of weeks ago, no one ever went in that room (we always stayed in the family room to watch t.v. and the leos were scattered around). Once we added the beardeds to the family (along with their tank which takes up a LOT of space), we decided to "consolidate" into one room.

Thanks to Marcia for the great idea of adding reptile pics to the room. We have scattered pictures of leos/beardies/crestie/ball python sitting next to various tanks.

Here's our "new and improved" living room :D

You set off your displays really nicely. The naturalistic enclosures are very attractive... and it's nice that your visitors can enjoy their beauty as well. :)

Thanks again! We have a fairly small collection compared to most here and I like being able to have them be our decoration :D However, I think by spring we will need a rack :main_lipsrsealed:

What all species to you have?

We have leopard geckos in the 10 gallon and 20 gallon tanks (varying ages and morphs), our crestie currently lives in the critter keeper (the big Exo Terra is for him, but he's too little for it right now), we have a ball python in the 20 tall (for now - he upgrades to a new Animal Plastics tank in September) and the beardies are in the custom wood/glass enclosure.

outta my freakin mind
I think it looks cool.

Is it an optical illusion or is the middle shelf of the middle shelf crooked??

It's probably the camera angle. I also like the paint color.:main_thumbsup:
(barn = prison cell red, from the "penitentiary" collection.

The middle shelf is crooked. One of the corner thingies that holds the shelves (I'm a real hand-woman - can't you tell) in place is like one off from the other three. Unfortunately I will have to take all of the tanks off to fix it because you have to bang the h**l out of it to get them loose and frankly I've just been too lazy. Hopefully I will have some motivation this weekend.

Sorry about that.

No prob... We put a very similar color on the walls of an apartment we lived in some years back. The landlord wasn't very happy when we moved out. :main_laugh: Needless to say, we didn't get much of a return on our deposit. :main_no:

Shows are TOTALLY my downfall. The last one we went just to "look". Of course we ended up with two beardeds, a tank that takes up 1/4 of our living room and we placed an order with AP for a snake tank  Oh well, you only live once, right? The next show here is in September (Letkey please give me advance warning if you're coming so I can take a second mortgage out on the house :p ).

Some of my co-workers think I'm nuts, but every night when the kids go tank to tank picking out which lizard(s) they want to hold, help me corral loose crickets or help me wash and cut greens and veggies instead of plopping in front of the television all night it confirms that I am totally sane (well, maybe not totally) :main_thumbsup:
