So "he" is not like Dan's crazy neon orange geckos (LOL) but I still think he's pretty cool.
It's fun to watch the changes with each shed. His tan bands are getting lighter and lighter and still no spots on his head. Yay! Possible baldy?
No significant carrot tail developing yet so maybe no carrot tail?
It's funny though - he has way more orange on the UNDER side of his tail...so that looking at his tail against his white paper towels his whole tail has sort of an orange/pink "glow" to it. I'll have to take a pic sometime to see if I can capture that.
So here's his (I say his just for wishful thinking and I see two small bulges on the underside of his tail but it's probably way too early for that) updated pix from today's tank cleaning.
It's been 3 weeks since I bought him and I'm guessing he was approx 4 weeks old when I got him (he was 2.5- 3" long) and now he's 4" long. Way to grow!
And the third pic is in direct sunlight...
(Oh and forgive his "dryness" I think he's getting ready to shed again. YAY)
