Just out of curiosity, what is a good pairing for a RAPTOR?

I don't really know if I want to breed mine or not, however I have had a passive curiosity as to what cool morph combinations one can make with a RAPTOR. Any insight?

Many many many many possibilities. You could get a mack snow enigma het raptor (or something with those same genes, for example and Black hole het raptor, mack snow tremper enigma het raptor etc), and go for dreamsickles.
You could get a paternless, and get an ember project going.
Or you could just get nice quality raptor and linebreed to produce some brighter raptors.

Totally up to you, and what you like.

Eclipse het Raptor, Mack Eclipse het Raptor, Mack Raptor, or any of those with the enigma gene added. They would all produce a nice variety of babies for you.

That is very similar to what we are setting up. We currently have a Red Stripe Raptor, a SHTCT poss het Raptor, a wee Bold Stripe Mack Snow Eclipse, and an Enigma Tremper Het Blizzard male. One more lady, a Diablo Blanco, and we will have our ideal group. We can get tremper het eclipses, 50% enigma from the raptor mom AND test the male for his poss het eclipse, hypo and hypo enigmas from the SHTCT and test her for tremper and maybe eclipse, trempers and blazing blizzards and poss diablo blancos from the diablo blanco girl with 50% enigmas, and poss eclipses from the Mack snow eclipse, with 50% enigma and/or Mack snow. Phew! Lots of variety!

My point is, check your genes. Find the geckos you really like for themselves, decide what traits you want to breed for and set things up. We get this sort of question a lot onthe cornsnake forum I frequent as well, and I always recommend that people get the morphs they are passionate about an breed for those. Sunglow, SHTCT, raptor, eclipse, and any of these things in combination will give you good looking morph babies first generation.

I can't recommend shtct's and eclipses enough though. Mack snow eclipse, enigma tangerine, etc etc, would all be beautiful geckos and give you similar beautiful things, especially if they are het for things.

Genetics can be kinda hard to figure out, but they are SO much of the fun!

Also, having dealt with spider ball pythons before, my feeling on enigmas is that if it eats, sheds, poops, drinks, and copulates, it can live with me. I'll deal with enigma syndrome.

Your mileage may vary of course.
