To anyone out there like me who has read all the negative comments on sand and may be procrastinating as I did. GET RID of the SAND. We my daughter and I just lost one of her females from impaction. I read the posts I understood the risks but kept putting off removing the sand now it is to late.

Yes to both statements. Chainstore and NO SAND. Daughter thought she was cute and wants another next week, thinks she needs two for the one loss.

Lol I agree with your daughter...she needs two...or five :) I just LOVE the babies..and I always feel so guilty taking one from the pet store and not all of them

yep...I don't see a problem with that :p lol

I'm currently using all of the 10 gallon aquariums I have and I've transformed an old bedside-table into a viv for my leos. I'm going to have to build a rack one of these days...probably this summer...Otherwise I'm gonna have to get more creative with places to put these guys haha
