Haven't named this guy yet, either. I thought maybe "Piccaso," but it didn't stick. What do you think of "Salvador?"

I'm in love with Uros. I saw a baby one yesterday at a petstore.. They're just mini forms of their adult selves!

Beautiful animals. :) I think Salvador is a perfect name.

Oh the babies are so cute, with those little toothbrush tails!!!
Thank you for the comments and for the opinions on his name. I wanted to name him after a famous artist (since he looks like he has paint all over him) and nothing seemed to fit right. While Salvador Dali isn't one of my favorites, the name does seem to fit him...

Great pics, K! I think Salvador is a great name for him!! Plus, Uros are sooo cool looking, they almost look like they could be something out of a surrealist painting! ;)

Great looking Beardies and Uro's ... the majority of my collection consists of those types of reptiles.

What kind of uro is that? I have mali's .. but they are just yellow and brown/black. is that the sudanese kind? (I think thats what it's called/spelled)

He's an Ornate Uromastyx. We have a Mali, Darwin, and he's a total spaz. This little guy, though, is a total attention hog and loves being handled! From what I've read, Ornates are one of the most easily tamed and he's no exception. Should you ever find one, I totally recommend getting one. I promise, you'd never regret it! :main_thumbsup:
