Question: take a look at this pic and tell me what you think.. she's always been like this, ever since she hatched, I have always thought it was odd, but also thought it would go away..? it hasn't, but it doesn't seem to affect her health

Jess,

They all look great! About your "lumpy" girl.... I have a Banded Raptor Female that has something similar to that. She had a lump right before her tail since birth as well. I have been told it could have been from a vitamin deficiency in the mother?!? It doesn't seem to affect her in an adverse way either but we definately keep an eye on her :)

Thanks so much everyone

But yeah, Hera is awefully lumpy lol

N8, I guess it could be from a vitamin deficiency in the mother.. I'm going to have to make sure she gets more vitamins! I gave a little extra to Hera too :) I hope it doesn't affect her health in any way later on.. she's defnitely been doing well thus far :)

Rachel, getting x-rays is a good idea, thanks :)

The lumpyness could be due to not getting enough calcium during the developmental stages in the egg... Thats my opinion... Awesome leos Jess... They are all beautiful...

Okay, thanks Gregg :) I was giving extra liquid calcium to the gravid females for awhile (but stopped) so I will need to start doing that again
