Just Styrofoam?

Hi,

I made a hide out of styrofoam and was wondering if I had to grout and paint it. I am not selling it and I don't need it to look natural. So can I just use styrofoam?

I don't see why not. Just know that it isn't going to last for very long. If feces or whatnot gets stuck in it it would be really difficult to remove

The gecko's claws will probably tear it up pretty quickly as well.
