Hello everybody :)

I joined the forum today, my names Ben, I'm 17 and live in the UK. I got my first gecko 2 weeks ago and she is a Blazing Blizzard called Storm :) She settled in to her vivarium, I then decided I wanted another female and have moved the blizzard in with a hypo tangerine which I have yet to name. I got her on Sunday :)
Tomorrow I am going to collect a 9 month old male Baldy Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tail :) (anyway of abbreviating that? haha) and eventually I would like to start breeding once they are all settled in and at a steady healthy weight :)

Any questions, just ask :)
Thanks, Ben.

Welcome to the forums. I suggest you slow down with the breeding plans for now. I've had geckos for years and I am still learning every single day about them.

couldnt agree more....I tried jumping into breeding and found myself in mucho trouble when i ran into normal gecko problems. It was suggested to spend more time with the animals before trying to breed them. It was a great suggestion.

Welcome Ben... may you have fun and learn well. One other thing you should keep in mind in obtaining new leos is that they should be quarantined for up to 90 days just to play it safe concerning health issues dealing with possible parasites, bacterial or viral infections that can transfer from one leo to another. Plus it can allow you to her more aqainted with an individual Leo's characteristics and behaviors when you do decide to introduce them to each other. Pretty much you can find or ask for answers to almost any question.
