My local reptile rescue has this girl up for adoption. I love normal and when I saw her I filled out an application. Possibly getting her Sunday.

The rescue has been feeding her crickets and dubias. Do you think it will be difficult to get her on mealworms? I feed a staple of mealworms with crickets and butter/reptiworms thrown in for variety. I'd like to feed her the same way.

Good luck on getting her. YOu may be able to get her to eat mealworms, but most of my geckos go in the other direction: they get tired of the mealworms and prefer crickets and superworms.

I'm already approved to adopt her. She's mine if I want her.

I've kept quite a few geckos over the years but I've never had that experience. My mealworm eaters never stopped eating the mealworms. I've never adopted an adult before though, that I would have to transition over to mealworms. So I'm wondering how difficult it would be...

Of course, I don't know what she was eating in her original home. I only know what the rescue is feeding her.
