Just wanted to share

I got my gecko on wednesday,and i hadnt seen him eat anything,but i read that it can take a week or so for them to eat after moving.Anyway,i went out earlier,came back and a mealworm had gone out of the bowl.Yay! i thought.Hes eaten something.So i put in 2 crickets,and waited.The bloody things ran off,and hid behind his humid hide.So i shock them out,and they ran in the direction of his warm hide,then i saw him shoot his head out,and grab the cricket! Sounds daft,But he is my first lizard,so its nice to see him settling in :main_thumbsup:

Nice to hear. I used to wait impatiently for my first gecko to come out and hunt. Even now, with more geckos than I care to admit to, it's exciting to see them feed.
