Keeping the humidity levels up

Isabel's exo setup is nice and all but keeping the humidity up has been a real pain in the butt. At night it doesn't get any lower than 68º but the humidity drops. I mist her twice a day. There have been a few nights it's been colder so I stick a low wattage night glo bulb on the tank.

I've thought about getting either a waterfall or a mister. Something like this. Or a mister like this. Which would be better? I'm leaning towards the waterfall for the naturalistic look.

I don't know what substrate you're using, but a planted tank does wonders for humidity. Spencer has been in a planted 12x12x18 exoterra for the past 3 years and he's big and happy. I mist every morning, provide heat only through lights during the day and don't measure the humidity anymore.

Cocoa fiber or eco earth. I plan to get some plants in the coming weeks. I'm sure that will help.

Constant humidity is not not desireable and can actually cause problems. You want the enclosure to completely dry out between mistings.
