theres a few tricks i learned while ttying to tame my bearded dragon.

The easiest way to get him out of the cage without him turning on you is to get a small brightly colored blanket or a wash cloth. disract him with that and then try to reach behind him so he doesnt see you. Another really helpful tid bit that worked for me is everytime he opens his mouth put some veggies in it. preferable with tweezers if he is nippy.

Once he is out try gently rubbing the top of his head and make sure you are supporting his feet. If that doesnt calm him down try a warm-hot bath of shallow water for 10-15minutes then holding him again.

When i first got mine he was nippy. we found that he wasnt getting enough stimulation while in his cage. so we moved it to a high traffic area where he got used to seeing people and can watch tv this made him less jumpy overall.

But i def. agree he needs to be eating more. most babies dont really care for there veggies so wont eat enough to supplement crickets. I was told by a vet a good way to figure out how many yours should be eating, is to put them in a feeding tub seperate from habitat and slowly not all at once pour in counted cricket let him eat as much as he wants for 15minutes. then count how many he ate divide that by 2 and thats how many he should be easting at each serving.

I know it's frustrating but be strong and brave it will pay off but will take time too.
