kenyan sand boas ASAP

Ok im on the run right now but heres my questions
How big are they
whats the minimumtank size
Is sand actualy ok
Howmany hides
UTH or HEat lamp

The one thats being dumped on me is in a 10gal tank, sand and a lamp with water bowl and thermometer
Its 12" appearntly and eats pinkies. Im getting it tomarrow but i have to run right now.

from what ive been reading, if its a male i can keep it in the 10 but if its female its gotta be a 15-20. AMd hides, do they need to be actual hides or flat tiles/rocks that the snake can burrow under?

We keep sand boas in 10x15 (approximate measurement) kritter keepers, the shallow ones. They have a water dish and several inches of shaved aspen. They seem to do better in the bedding than sand, which was used previously. It's heated underneath but not direct contact with that type plastic. The snake room is warm tho.

1. Did you not see where i had said "from what i read" lol.
2. 10x15 inches? I think that a 10gal would suffice a 12" for a few months atleast right?
3. sexing from what i hear involves just looking at the little stubs by the anus right? or does it need to be poped. Also if i can come can i bring my Greybanded to have sexed too? Ill see if i cant get a UTH real soon. My rep room is around 80-85 airtemp.
I plan on buying a big bag of aspen for my king sometime within the month, will it be ok until then?
