As I was returning these two to their cage after feeding, I realized I'd never posted pictures of them!

I brought these little sand boas home from the San Jose show. Thanks Wes!! :) The kids & I just love these little cuties! They are so mellow! They are both eating f/t pinkies readily and have both shed for me since coming home.

Here is a shot of both of them - the female has the brighter orange markings.

I love how they try to burrow into the carpet. This is the female.

And here's a close-up of the male:

Those are very cool Nance! I used to have an anery KSB named "Ninja." She was a really neat little girl! I would love to breed these guys but will have to wait until I have more space and time! :)

Can I ask where you got your anery and how much I should expect to pay for one? I've been wanting a male ever since I got my normal female. She's still very young, but I'm just in love and would eventually like another. They're not the most common snakes around though, so I'd appreciate any info.... thanks!

So, can I assume (and I know what happens when you ASSume!) that the black and white kenyan sand boa females that they have listed on their page for $129 are anerys?

and maybe this isn't the right place to ask, but do you guys trust animals from LLLreptiles? I only ask because the one gecko I have bought from them was pretty sickly. and of course they only have females when I'm looking for a male.

any breeders out there?

Thanks Chris and Nigel!

I actually ended up getting him from Mark Westberg (found on fauna). He is a very cool guy! Gave me a good deal, and threw in a little juvie crested for free! I'll have to post more pics once they both get settled in. I think he's got more - email or PM me if you want his contact info.

I love these KSBs! they are soooo cool!
