Hello everyone,
Anyone who is experienced with knobtails please reply. I got Declan my first ever knobtail in November. He's a nephrurus vertebralis. He's about a year old. He's a great eater, he's active, poops and urates are normal, no issues shedding but I've noticed that he's lost weight since I got him. It's really frustrating because it doesn't matter how much I feed him or what I feed him, he's not gaining weight and it's driving me crazy. If I can get a fresh stool sample I'll take it to my exotic vet to test for parasites, otherwise I'll take him in. In the meantime does anyone have any idea why he has lost weight? Any tips or advice? I've attached pics from a few days ago.
