I know Al and I have met him in person on Numerous Occasions. I have gotten numerous animals from him on numerous occasions as well. They were acturatley represented. If you have questions about the validity of the pattern of this animal why don't you contact him. I am sure that he has other pictures of this animal. He is a member on this forum as well.

considering the site TOS i do not believe this is the appropriate place to discuss another business or the authenticity of the animal.

from what ive gathered, al likes the "unusual" stuff. I have to admit i have NEVER seen a gecko look anything like this one either.

We have a reverse stripe albino we got from him, another thing ive never seen other people have or offer.

David is right tho, if you have any questions, contact him, he takes phenomenal pictures, and I am sure he wouldn't mind taking more for the right buyer.

That is correct. I suggest EVERYONE become familiar with the rules of this website. We do not name names when discussing anyones business ethics.

(PS, that is an amazing gecko above!)

I realize what you mean marcia, but I do have what I believe to be a valid question. I understand we got rid of our business inquiries or what ever it was called, but this thread brings up what I beleive to be a valid point. Leopard Lunatic might be interrested in buying this gecko. He didnt post anyones name, or even the actual add anywhere, he just simply asked if this looks like the real deal, or if he is taking a risk making the purchase. I understand we are not here to bash, and that is why the business thread was stopped, but we are all here to help, which I think might have been where Leopard Lunatic was going with this, is there an appropriate place for him to ask for help like this, or are we simply telling him to ask for help elsewhere? I sincerely hope that we are not just doing the later..... No disrespect is ment to anyone, just trying to get straightforward answers, and hopefully show a valid point on why maybe there should be a thread on this.

thank you for the post paul. The zoomed in pic realy does wonders for it. I hope that the person who posted that pic on kingsnake comes here and posts a similar picture showing the same. Btw, now that this picture is posted and the thread is here, is that believed to be a birthmark or genetic? Isnt that the same paradox spot we see on alot of blizzards?

I agree there needs to be a place for posting information on scammers and inquiries on businesses, and there is one over at Fauna. When we had the Business Inquiries and Reports Forum, it got so ugly that we were threatened with lawsuits, so we voted to do away with it. It's too bad that it had to go away, but there were just too many flames popping up from those of us who couldn't keep our opinions to ourselves.

Fauna has lots of disclaimers and even has attorneys to deal with the fallout when these things come up. We don't, so we are still recommending folks take these issues over to the Board of Inquiry.

I have no idea. I did not produce the gecko, and so far none of her offspring exhibit the trait. It's just a hunch, but I would guess it's a random pigmentation anomaly.

I don't think so. I have both blizzards and patternless that have unusual spots. The patternless' spots seem to look more like freckles and are generally smaller. The blizzards' spots look more like a mole because the texture of the pigmented skin is different.

Hi guys, I'm the person who's selling the Large Black spot female.
I actually don't mind if people questions the validation of a picture of an animal..
But without really knowing the truth, Fact, or anything about the animal and someone just say "Yeah, id definitely say its fake.....", I think it's unprofessional and provoking negative responds.
I really can't appreciate that comment.

The black spot is real and I always try to represent my animals the best way possible.

Here are some other pictures of her.
When she was young:

Taken through aquarium glass:

and actually one of her babies have a perfect circle on its back, but not black spot though...
This one just came out of the egg:

Please contact me if you have any more questions about her.

Thanks David & Tamara, I hope things are well for you guys. Nice leachie hatchling btw!
