I would like to make a self-sustaining live plant vivarium with crested geckos, at my disposal I have the following:
Crested geckos (Any amount)
Glass front opening tank (36 tall, 24 wide, 18 deep - Equal to about 70 gallons)
Fog machines (Up to 4)
Lights (Any color or size)
Heating utilities
Live plants (All on the 'safe' list)
Water supplies (Pumps, filters, hoses, reservoirs)
A further budget of $450 for building supplies (silicone, cork bark, etc.)
What I would like to know, is given the proper care of health, could any amphibious/aquatic animals be housed with the crested geckos (I'm considering Red Eyes). Furthermore, and just for fun, with the list provided, what would YOU do to your tank? I love seeing other people's ideas! Keep it natural looking, but feel free to add some artistic flair!
