Hi all
just wondering, in a season, leopards lay eggs multiple times in a season.

so, eggs hatch 40 to 60 days from incubation is that correct?

also, do you just put the eggs in the incubator as they are laid, so they hatch in different times or do you wait for all the be laid and then incubate? i doubt you can wait long before incubating an egg.

At the lower temperature range, 80-81 degrees, my eggs hatch at 54-65 days, usually closer to 9 weeks. Ican't speak for the higher range; I've never done it. You incubate the eggs as they are laid because if you wait they'll get too cold and die. The incubated eggs are placed in a closed container that needs to be opened weekly for air exchange so it's no big deal if you open the container to put new eggs in. Some people use small containers and only have one clutch per container. I use containers that can hold 9-10 eggs and put them in (each one marked) in order. My hobovator can fit 4 containers, so I can have up to 40 eggs incubating at at time and that has been sufficient for me.

where do you put the eggs, can you perhaps post pics of what you use to put the eggs in?
moisture details?
do you spray the eggs or just keep the substrate wet that the egg is in and leave it?

why must it be a closed container?
so it doesnt dry i suppose but not sure:)

so the hobovator is a fan forced incubator? non turner
