I use the disposable gladware containers about 6"x4", fill about halfway with coco fiber and cut a hole in the lid.

well my moist hide has paper towels in it....should i replace it and put something else in it?

My moist hides just have paper towels and my girls lay eggs in them just fine. Very rarely they'll lay outside the box. I make sure the hides stay very moist and I check them frequently. If the eggs stick to the side of the container and stay there to long your going to have problems. Both methods should work fine for you, so I'd say which ever you prefere to use.

For people who use paper towels for the lay box, do the geckos lay the eggs right on the towels or do they try to dig?
