laying box

what you guys use in the laying box?
i generally put steril soil, but this is because i check my boxes 2 times in a day, so eggs don't stay in the soil for too long..
what is the better thing to use in laying box for deposition?

marula i prefer to use sphagnum moss. it holds humidity well and and is generally a bit easier for them to dig in

ive never tried anything but zoo med eco earth, I like it, its very cheap and effective

I used to use vermiculite for my lay boxes but have switched to eco earth this year ,seance i use it for all my other geckos (not leos) haven't had any problems and has been working great for lay boxes
