laying eggs in water dish???

one of my females keeps laying her eggs in her water dish...even though i have a humid hide in her bin....is this bad for the eggs?...keep in mind they never stay in there long i check bins every day a few times a day. but do the eggs absorbe the water and drown the embreo?...thanks for the help

If they're in there too long they can. Here are some suggestions to help the female get it right:

--switch the water dish and humid hide location
--if this fails, consider putting the female, when she seems to be due, in a small enclosure where the entire thing is lay box substrate so it doesn't matter where she lays them.
