I have 1 female that has laid 3 clutches in the laybox and this last clutch she laid outside the laybox????

I have another female that this was her first clutch and she too laid them outside the laybox. She is a first timer so I kinda understand why she didn't lay in the laybox. But the other one has used the laybox so I don't know why she laid on the floor. Can anyone help???

Thank
Brent

I have had mine do that. It is not a problem.
Unless they are left in the hot side for a long time.
Just put the geckos in the laybox by force.
This will let them know that the box is a humid area. That female probably had never been in the laybox when it was damp or wet.

Well It is a problem because when I find the eggs they are all dried and shriveled up. THough they were not laid on the hot side. The lay box is always in there and they do know what it is. like I said one female was on her third clutch and this is the first clutch she laid outside the box. The other female is just in her first clutch and she is a first timer.
