One of my girls seems to have started ovulating. She has stopped eating, and as far as I can tell she does have the pink spot on her stomach... she doesn't like being on her back so I haven't been able to get a picture unfortunately.
My question is... how long do they usually ovulate if they are not bred? I understand that they ovulate throughout the breeding season (Feb-Sept) and that the season can start late depending upon the leo and the breeder, but will she go without food for 6-8 months? :main_huh:
For those of you, if any, that have had a female ovulate and refuse food, did you force feed or offer slurry?
