LEO hates thunder

Is it normal for a leopard gecko to dislike bad weather/loud storms? Suggestions for helping calming? We had bad storms in my area yesterday and my Leo acted stressed. He was glass surfing, pacing and would not eat. Is this normal and what can I do to help ease the stress.

Keep track of whether the gecko seems to act this way only when there's a storm so you know that that's definitely it. I guess teeny ear plugs are not really going to work. This may sound callous, but in every life falls a little stress. It's survivable.
