You always want to quarantine for 60-90 days to be sure that your new leo is truly healthy. I'm not sure if placing a divider in the tank would be good enough for a true quarantine.

Kritter keepers aren't really designed to be used with heating elements. They would work in an emergency for a few days without heat but not for a couple of months. It would be a good idea to have another tank anyway in case they don't get along.

Yeah, I would do a 10 gal for quarantine. Just do a bare bones set-up. Moist hide. Food, water, and vitamin bowl. With a substance, and a UTH. Maybe a top. That end up being pretty cheap, and your gecko will thank you.
