I have 2 females 1.5 years old that have very skinny tails they do eat but not as much as they used too.they were kept in a 55 gallon tank with the warm side was 90 degrees.I moved them to there own 20 gallon tank away from my 3 other females and one male. After they laid eggs this happened.anyone know what could possibly be wrong with them?My other gecko's are ok with nice thick tails even after laying eggs. They were both 58 and61 grams before egg laying.there tails are like the size of a #2 pencil. Thanks for any input.

They are more than likely just malnourished from all their nutrients going straight to egg production. Do you have any pictures? Are they eating any better now that they've stopped laying. I would recommend separating them so EACH has their own enclosure, and making sure your temps are in the mid-90s to stimulate their eating and digestion processeses. This way you will be able to monitor exactly how much each is eating.

Oh, wow. O.O How old are they? They actually look slightly young to be breeding in the first place.. but I'm definitely no expert. I barely know anything. xD

far side of sanity
up the temps to *95 F thats what i keep mine at.
make sure there is calcium in a dish in there for them, and at least 3 hides.
id seperate them if possible,
and feed them as much as they will eat, try a couple waxworms to fatten em up, mealies n crix n supers for the main staple.
make sure there is plenty of water in there for htem too
good luck with the girls
