My leopard gecko has a yellow crust on its mouth. I'm not sure what it is. I tried to remove it delicately but it won't come off.
I didn't see this when I fed him this morning.
welcome to GF. Take a q-tip, wet it in warm water and try to gently remove it. If it still won't come off, just try a bit every day and keep an eye on it. If it gets worse or the area starts to turn red, you will need to take your gecko to a reptile vet because it may be an infection.
It could be some food that dryed out. So mabye that's why it won't come off but just try every day. ( you might need a little hands If you want to get it off right away ) also a Q-tip is not strong enough so use your finger nails
