Hello,
I'm new to the whole Leo breeding thing but not to breeding other reptiles. I had my first egg laid tonight by a first time breeder. She only laid one egg and I wasn't to surprised since its her first time. My question is it looks pearly white and perfectly calcified, the only thing is its kind of squishy. I am a newbie to this so I do not know if its normal for this to happen which I don't think it would be. I thought its probably no good but I'm incubating any way just in case. I am incubating at 84 degrees Fahrenheit. Is this egg good or is it likely a dud? I will most likely incubate it til it either goes bad or hatches so thanks in advance for any answers!!

They can start out a bit squishy, though if it feels like a water balloon it's probably infertile. They harden as they mature but do grow like many other types of reptile eggs. I agree you should incubate no matter what. I've had eggs that looked really funky hatch healthy babies. Welcome to GF.
