Forgive me for sounding clueless im still learning this genetics thing. im a little confused about 1 copy and 2 copy genetics e.g if i got a mack snow bell albino how would i know if its 1c or 2c? What does the term actually mean?

Thanks

1c and 2c is generally a term only used in the genetics calculator. (Thats the only time ive seen it used)
Anyways:
1c : Heterozygous
2c : Homozygous

So if your gecko is showing an tremper albino train it has 2c (2 copys) of that trait so expresses it.
1c would be something simple say normal het tremper.

Hope this clears it up.

I have seen it used to describe enigmas, one copy and two copy enigmas and this is how I was confused initially, to see 1c and 2c used in the genetics calc so I assumed it was the same sort of thing.

1 copy on dominate traits are expressed in the phenotype ( Shown on the outside ) 1 copy on recessive traits are in the genotype ( not shown but can produce if paired with another hatchling with atleast 1 copy of the trait.
