Is she on sand?
I think you may have some more reading to do before you decide to breed...

How long have you been keeping leopard geckos? I would not recommend breeding any leopard gecko with unknown genetics.

ive had leopard geckos since i was 5 but this one is my only one now and she has unknown genetics
I would just consider her a pet then. If you decide to breed, Buy from a breeder that can give you the genetics of the animals you purchase along with the genetics of its parents.

SHTCTBs of mediocre quality can be pretty tough to find homes for. If you have lots of extra money, some friends who want geckos and you don't mind giving some pretty geckos away it might be worth it but you're not going to make much money off of breeding geckos - most people wind up spending money to breed their geckos in order to enjoy the hobby.

I would agree with everyone else and keep her as a gorgeous pet!

I would be hesitant to breed unless you can properly house and feed all of the potential hatchlings. Even then you have to consider any health issues that could arise.

Yea, if you don't know the EXACT genetics of her definitely DO NOT breed her. There are already FAR too many unknowns suffering in chain/other irresponsible pet stores already.

If you're into geckos, there are lots of different kinds to try. And if you want more of the same kind, you'll find tons of leos (and cresties) for sale that people bought and decided they didn't want anymore or whatever other reason they give.

If you are planning on breeding Leo's then i would recommend having a different substrate than sand at that time because they will be looking for a lot of calcium at that time and will ingest sand to acquire that and will possibly become impacted, but normally if they are bigger than 7 inches and not breeding NATURAL sand will cause no harm to them at all like beach or desert sand those natural sands will not cause them to get impacted like calcisand and manufactured sands that eventually will no matter what. I have had one of my Leos on beach sand for 3.5 yrs and my other on it for 2yrs and they have had no trouble at all with impaction.:)

From my understanding, this is generally true. Regular sand will pass through the system harmlessly, but calcium sand sticks together in balls when it gets wet. But OP said they already took it off sand, thankfully. :)
