Day 15 (March 23, 2014)

-Rosie still spends 80% of her time on the warm side, and 20% sleeping in the Laybox.
-I don't see her hunt at all, but she hides in the hide at feeding time...maybe eating in there.

Day 18 (March 26, 2014)

-Rosie stayed in the warmhide most of the day, occasional wandering to circle the tank.
-Rosie is still not eating when I can see her, but:
a) She is still gaining weight nicely
b) She still appears to have a full belly of food in today's pic.

Day 19 (March 27, 2014)

-Rosie still prefers her warmhide but she is coming to the Laybox randomly and just checking it out, sitting, and leaving.
-She seems to spend an hour in the warmhide, then slowly wander to the water bowl, and slowly wander back, taking rests on the open floor along the trip, both ways.
-She's drinking alot of water today, but still not eating (that I see). When I offer crickets, she doesn't come out of the hide. Some are eating 20 minutes later, but I don't know how many went to her cagemate, Bubble.

-Rosie is staying in the warm hide.
-She is still not eating (atleast I haven't seen her eat)
-Today I can REALLY see the lower-right egg (when looking at belly), and it has red vein stripes.
-I am surprised that I am not seeing the upper-left egg more clearly formed (and pressed against the skin) by Day 23 (considering that Ruby layed her eggs on Day 23).

-Rosie seems to rotate from warmhide to Laybox every 2 or 3 hours, like clockwork.
-Still no digging.
-The upper-left egg (looking at belly) still seems underformed and just a "pink blotch".
-The lower right egg still looks like it has striping.

Day 25 (April 2, 2014)

-Rosie layed her eggs last night.
-Both candled yellow with no visible veins ..but first clutches are probably infertile..
-She did not seem to have dug AT ALL...no dirt ever thrown on the sides, and eggs are NOT in a hole.

Egg#1 weighed 3.7g.
Egg#2 weighed 4.3g.
Into the incubator they go!! :O

Exciting! Keep the pictures coming and keep us updated as I'm watching for them each day

I am taking pleasure in this process but it is verrrry time consuming to take photos, alter filenames (for recordkeeping), upload, and make posts with linked upload-photos.

Now that I have uploaded almost-daily photos for Ruby and Rosie from mate->first clutch, I am posting weekly photos of "egg development during incubation.

Unfortunately, ...and I am sure Ruby and Rosie will like this: I won't be taking/uploading as many photos of them now. I will try to atleast get "belly photos" of their second clutches developing every 3-4 days.

Update:

-After laying eggs less than 9hours ago, Rosie has already eaten 2 crickets (that I saw...) before chasing a cricket into the warm hide.

-Rosie has stayed almost constantly on the warmside...digesting those crickets I guess.

-I just put crickets in Rosie/Bubble's tank.
-Rosie is hyper and climbing all over the place, sometimes trying to escape.
-Just as I was about to type "she is ignoring the crickets," ...she ate 1..lol
-Then she went into the warmhide calmly (waking up Bubble, who left for water)....so I won't know how many Rosie is eating in there, if any. (I will just come back in 30 minutes and remove any that the 2 of them did not eat.

Woke up and wandered into the laybox mid afternoon.
Been sleeping there since.

Note: computer is crashing again so i will try to add photos later.

Not a lot of definitive "production" showing just yet (as expected).

Unfortunately, the eggs candled yellow and have no veins (last checked 5 days after laying)....but I guess that is pretty much the "norm" for first clutches. I'm more surprised that my other Leo has one "candle-red, with vein" egg.

yeah some times i have varying degrees of success. iv had a few that only one was fertile too. Iv also had a clutch develop and hatch much later then all the others, took twice the normal incubation time.

-Rosie is sleeping in the warm hide at 7am.
-I still wake up to find 2 (two) large poops every now and then, so she is eating some of the crickets that disappear when they enter the hide...(not just Bubble eating them).
-Still sleeping outside the warm hide at 9pm.
