Leopard Gecko Reptile Carpet problem?

I've been noticing for the past few days that when I feed my Leopard Gecko mealworms or crickets she seems to get "stuck" on the carpet when she bites at prey. She gets out within a second or two. Should I be worried about this? Is this also a big problem with Reptile Carpet or is it just the brand I use? Is this also a problem that can be fixed with a good wash or two?

P.S. I'm using Zoo Med's "Eco Carpet".

do you just plop the prey down or do you use feeding tongs?

I've actually heard of a lot of people having this problem with reptile carpet...I've never personally used it. Try feeding in a dish and see if that helps. If not, you may just need to switch to a different substrate

I use reptile carpet as well. Mine get stuck occassionally while feeding as well. As long as you watch them closely and make sure they get themselves off right away, then I've been told that there isnt much of a problem. You can also switch to using something else. A quick switch would be to paper towels. Unless you would like to put tile down.
