So we went to our local pet store. With the intentions of getting a few crickets some meal worms and a couple super worms for our other Leopard Gecko. We have been watching there supply of Leopards and I have always thought they were a little to small and did not want to purchase one. Well I had to rescue this one. It is very small but I will make sure it grows up nice and healthy.
I could not get any up close pictures cause I wanted to let it get settled in before handling it to much. What I can tell you is that it has two black eyes right now. I cant see any seperation in color but the eyes are also very hard to see well cause of how small it still is.
Any recommendations on what to start the feedings with would be appreciated. It will chase small meal worms and small crickets but has not ate yet. (Only had a few hours so not to worried).
If anyone wants to guess what type it is when it gets grown up let me know and I will post pics as it gets bigger.
Thanks and here are the pics so far.
This picture is as I am taking it out of the container from the pet store and sitting it down gently into its new home. (it was very calm) But took off soon as I sat it down
Overhead picture. Before we put it into the aquarium in natural light it looked much whiter then it does in the pics.
Finding a new hide and making itself at home
Thanks for your time and any input.
