hey guys i am going to buy a male gecko for my female but how do you stop them from mating because i know you have to give the female alot of calcium while she is pregnant for the egg but i dont always want my baby pregnant...lol...but do they in a certain season or just one or nonstop..lolz

If you don't want her to become gravid then you either have to house them separately (with NO contact) or get another female for her as a tank mate. There's no way to stop them from mating and getting fertile eggs if a male and female are housed together.

No, that's not always true, the female can store sperm in her I'm pretty sure. Different ages of geckos lay different numbers of eggs. If you don't want eggs, don't keep them together. If you don't want to hatch the eggs, freeze them and throw them out.

Nookie is a slang term for breeding :) You'll definitely want to keep them separately until you are sure you want eggs, and are capable of incubating them...if ever at all!
