are these 2 geckos closely related? They look so much alike. Are they cousins like horse and donkey? any body ever try to interbreed?

They do look fairly similar but they aren't closely related. People tried to breed the 2 but it was never successful. I think it would be pretty cool to have AFT morphs mixed with leo's but that's nevergoing to happen lol. But there is a leopard gecko that looks like a AFT, its the E. State your source....considering they the AFT and the Leopard Gecko have serious physiological differences they can not breed successfully.
