I always keep gutload and carrots in with my mealworms... VERY rarely do I have any of them die, and the moisture and food keeps them active and more appealing to be eaten. I do end up with alot of mealworm pupae which I destroy, but if I were breeding mealies would be a bonus.

We use Cody's Pro Gutload for all of our feeders. There's no set number of crickets or supers you should feed your gecko per week. All geckos eat at different rates so it just depends on your gecko.

Pro Gutload, is it easy to sift mealworms through? I have always had trouble sifting through ground up oatmeal/oats...i have been using wheat flour to keep my worms in because it is easy to sift through..

Just say'in, bro. Maybe I'm not understanding you.

Lol I worded it wrong let's try this again. I have about 150 mealworms left, I keep them in two deli cups as it's easier to gutload them this way. I put about 20 of them a day in his food bowl in his tank. If he doesn't eat them by the next morning I put the mealies back in one of the deli cups to gut
load and I get 20 more out the other deli cup and put them in his bowl.

I meant he will always have mealies in his bowl 24/7, I switch them out daily if he doesn't eat them. I will keep doing that until either he eats them or they die off. If he doesn't eat them and they all die off or try to turn into beetles I will just throw em away.

I didn't realize at the time I posted that the way it was worded would sound weird, sorry bout that. I make sure he always has fresh gut loaded feeders, he's just not eating the mealies.

I tried to show him the mealies again today and he turned away. I dropped a dusted super in his tank and he came flying out his humid hide and ate it. I tried another super but he didn't want it.

I tried to feed him the mealies and he won't take em. So I dusted a super and dropped it in. Same response as earlier he ate it real quick, he took 3 dusted super at one time plus he ate one earlier today aswell.

I think I'm just gonna get rid of the mealies, it seems like a big waste to buy them when he won't eat them.
