I had a few eclipse like this last year, oddly enogh, the ones with the most eye pigment were also the lightest in color, like this one below...
after that is a mack x stripe cross that had a very nice green color that has started to darken in, unfortunately...and young mack hatchling from PRS x mack (carrying stripe genes)
I am going to try to get a few more pics of these eclipses to show the color,
I think that stress causes these to darken in , as my first/oldest female did once i started to breed her, I guess i 'll have to wait and see...
anybody else with a similar experience with these?
