I understand that certain morphs such as carrot tails are line bred to increase the amount of carrot tail. Do all morphs even dominate or co-dominate morphs benefit from line breeding?
Whether or not the gecko is an albino or any other simple dominant/recessive or co-dominant characteristic is a question of the dominant/recessive gene and not line breeding. However, how nice an albino the gecko is, the degree and pattern of spotting and the depth of color would be something that could be improved by linebreeding. I hope that's clear.
Yup that is exactly what I was wondering. Just thinking about the process of selectively breeding leo's. I guess the hard part is figuring out what you like and what you want to breed for.
