So while we were off taking 2 of the leos to the vet today, Casper decided he was going to climb his plant and sneak over to Yoshi's side of the tank. Now Casper is a prime example of a well fed fatty juvie... buddah belly and all... who never even climbs onto the top of his hides.

Here's hoping they didn't do what they probably did. Yoshi's at a little over 30 grams, but I worry she isn't big enough to handle eggs if it comes to it.

Needless to say it was the first time it happened and the last time. No more plant for him.

(I'll admit, it was cute seeing them curled up in her moist hide together, but still.)

I've had geckos climb over the divider, push under or around them. They're not reliable at all. Try setting up a separate tank for the male. 30 grams is a bit small. Definitely hope she's not ovulating and he didn't give it a try.
