I have had my gecko on super worms dusted with Rhepashys Leopard Gecko Dust for quite a while now. Recently my gecko has not been eating much. Maybe a few worms a week for the past couple weeks. I haven't thought too much of it until I went away for a week and left my dad to take care of him. I told my dad to dust the worms every time he feeds them. I guess he still wasn't eating so my dad decided to give him one without dust, and he ate it. So, today I went to feed him and dusted the worm like always. He went darting for it like he was starving and then got close, licked it, and turned his head. Then I tried an undusted worm and he ate it. I tried another dusted one and he didn't eat it, so I tried another undusted one and he ate it. I did this again and he again ate the undusted one. He never had a problem with the dusting before and would usually eat 4 sw every other day. Now it seems he doesn't want the dust. I don't want him to not get the supplements, but I also don't want him not to eat. Any suggestions?
The other thing is that about a month ago I gave him a new tank. His eating problem started maybe a week or two after I put him in his new tank. Temps are good, checked with a IR thermometer and the usual thermostat. He has been drinking water and is active. He is starting to look like he is loosing weight in his tail though.
