OK guys I need a little help. I found an ad on the net for a whole crap load of reptile supplies that a woman didnt want/need anymore. When I got there and she realized I was a Leo breeder she asked me If I would please take two geckos she had left cause she didnt have time for them anymore, and so I did. She said they are around three, but boy are they skinny! I feel so bad for them. I have them set up with meal worms right now. Anything else you guys can think of that might help get them back to a healthy weight? I hope they really are just underfed and not sick. Is their anything special I should do for the fat tail (I have never had one before)? I was also wondering what morph you guys think the Leo is? Im so bad with the albino morphs.
Here is the Leo:

and the Fatty:

Thanks a bunch!

I don't think stuffing them with wax worms would be best and i thought the slurry was used in extreme cases of geckos that weren't eating.. I could be wrong.. Even though you want a fat tail you need to make sure you have a healthy gecko that is getting the best nutrition especially if they're not in the best shape.

Are they willing to eat on their own?

In my opinion (which isn't anything special) with a good meal that is gutloaded with the best and dusted with the correct vitamins you should start seeing them gaining weight while they gain proper nutrition.

Good Luck

That is basically the way im going with them right now. I just set them up 10 min before I posted this so I am not sure if they are eating. Right now they are warming up. The woman said the fat tail loved waxies, so I think it has gotten a lot of worthless food. They were kept on sand, and I have no idea of the temps. Im going to see how active they get when they are at a proper temp/ conditions. Thanks for the answers.

If it looks like they're eating on their own and start gaining a little weight I wouldn't rush to the slurry, but that's just my (admittedly total newbie) opinion. If they start eating appropriately dusted, nutritious food they'll naturally gain some weight.

Also insert obligatory vet, poo sample, etc. stuff here -- As thin as that leo is you definitely want to rule out parasites :)
