hahaha... mom with 3 chicks and dad brings food .

check it as much as you can and watch the progress from 1 week old to fledged eaglets leaving the nest.

The camera is very close to the nest, so you get to see very close footage.

Very, very cool, Paul! Our Bald Eagles are on a big come-back here in California, and we have seen several soaring through the hills and mountains not far from our home. It makes me feel good that our National Bird is no longer endangered, and seeing them rearing their young tugs at my heart strings!

Glad everyone liked it. I have loved raptors for many years and believe me, they are in decline as a whole. Eagles have made a great comeback and are delisted now, but many other hawk species are declining from west nile, habitat distruction, illegal hunting, poisoning on wintering grounds(south america)... sad if you ask me.

Awareness is the first step to stopping decline :)

Thanks for the link, Paul! I'll be sure to check in on them often! I saw my first Eagle nest (with babies) when I was in Florida earlier this month. The view was sketchy even through binoculars, but it was still awesome to see them in person! :D

Nancy, I know a few wildlife photog in FL, so next time you got to florida let me know. I will see if I can locate a close nest for you to view.

I am a birder(you think I know geckos, I know birds far better) and was a wildlife photog for awhile as a job. I documented RARE nesting birds mostly.

I may be wrong, but I think falcons nest a bit later in the season. Most raptors are still migrating back to summering grounds.
