live plants in cage?

is it ok to put live plants in the setup? I just got a little tiny cactus that has a big red flower type thing on top and wanted to put it in their enclosure...is this ok? I couldn't find any thing with plants that are toxic to them, so I'm waiting to put it in until i get a second opinion

I have a hub that has information about which plants are ok to put in a leopard gecko enclosure. There's other info in it as well, as it's about setting up natural enclosures, but there is a list of safe plants.
