Location for Lay Box?

Do you put the lay box on the cool side or warm side, or does it not really matter?

i put mine on the warm side, but that is where all my humid hides are My girls do lay their eggs in it, so it does work for me. i only put it there because i am gone for quite a while every day, so i don't want the eggs to get to cold if they lay while im gone

I put mine in the middle. If the eggs get too much over 90 degrees it can hurt or kill them so directly over the UTH might not be a great idea. Even if they are at 75 degrees they should be fine for 24 hours or so until you find them

yeah, you do have a point, but the plastic, and moss in my humiod hides is thick enough, that it stays right around 80-85 ish degrees inside

1/2 on heat and 1/2 off heat, the geckos will move the substrate to acclimate to the temp they want.
